October/November 2004 Now in our thirteenth
year. www.Bdarn.com

Dennis, we have had three dogs from a kennel that advertises
with you that have all died of cancer. Could you please write
an article about this so everyone knows? name with held
Sorry I will not. And there are a handful of reasons. First of
all, the cancer problem may be in your environment. Second in
my fourteen years of publishing this is the first time anyone
has any thing bad to say about this breeder. So based on that,
I would revisit reason number one. Lastly we think our lives
exist in a vacuum, that's not true. If the breeder has cancer
issues, they know and are doing something about it. Or else they
won't be in business long. The sporting dog industry is too small
for something like that to escape visibility.
I have had problems with people over the years. When I started
asking around, seems everyone has the same problem with them.
Either you're in business and you are treating people nice, or
it isn't long and you are out of business. So I hope you have
better luck with your next dog. Dennis G
Dennis, I'm getting great results from my website from you. Is
there a good way to send you updates for the site? John H. Lincoln,
NE
John, glad to see your getting good results. As far as updates,
let me refer you to our "honey do" lists. If I have
one or two things to do.. I slip them in fairly quickly. If my
list is six or a dozen long... seems like it takes forever to
find the time. I guess I'm the same with handling my e-mail.
Small updates get done fast... if the list is five or six changes..
seems I don't get around to them as fast. So send me a few e-mails
with minor updates and things may go faster. DG
Dennis, since I had someone else do my webpage and have just
linked to your website my response has been miserable, what has
changed? Jay L, Des Moines IA
Well Jay, there a lot of fly by night people declaring they will
do a web page cheaper. Problem is cheaper, may mean never seen.
I have been designing websites for about 10 years, there is very
subtle things that can be done to a site to get you noticed.
It's not something I share with people and it can make a huge
difference in the number of people and search engines that see
your site. Most times in life, you get what you paid for. DG
Dennis, great website, and magazine, and online store. You have
content that can't be found anywhere's else. Hey I have a great
new collar for training dogs, is there any chance of getting
it on your online store? PJ Cleveland, OH
Thanks, it didn't happen over night but we are growing with leaps
and bounds. As far as adding something to our online store, sure
I'm interested. I have been adding about one hundred items a
month to our Guldans.com online store and can't see slowing down
anytime soon. The biggest thing is I asked that you drop ship
the item. Which mean I will take care of the sale and you take
care of the stocking and shipping product, other then that send
me out a sample and we'll see what we can so. DG
Send in your cards and photos, we can always use them.
