April/May 2004 Now in our thirteenth year. www.Bdarn.com

My next stop was at the Innotek booth. Innotek had a great new product called the Zones. I have never seen a product like the Zone. Do you have a chair or sofa that is off limits to the dog. Yea the one that always has dog hair on it. Well you need a Zone unit.
Each Zone unit protects an area from two to twelve feet. It comes with a collar and goes off when the dog gets close to the sofa or trash can or where ever you place it. The entire system retails for under $100 and extra collars are available. I know we will have a two dog system in our house in the near future.

Another item I found interesting was a bark collar from the Canadian Manufacturer Multivet called Spraylogik. Unlike the normal E-collars these collars use a spray liquid instead of electricity to get your dogs attention. They have models for field work, containment

systems and bark collars. They claim spray is twice as effective as shock therapy. The down side of these collars is you need to refill the collars with their aerosol loading system. But for if you hate the idea of electricity its a good alternative. They also offer a line of remote deer scents sprays.

That was it for new collars at the show I'll keep you informed throughout the year as these companies continue to release new products that did not make it to the annual SHOT show.
